BETTERCOAL ASSESSOR TRAINING 2025

In January, we conducted a two-day training session for our third-party assessors. The training was a key step in ensuring consistency and alignment in assessments, providing the assessors with key updates from our Assessment Manual, and maintaining the robustness of our assurance processes. 

The training provided detailed information on all aspects of Bettercoal assessments and assurance processes, and created space for in-depth discussions, best practice sharing, and process reviews with our assessors. 

All assessors that participated in the training are now confirmed as either ‘RECOSI Lead Assessors’ or ‘RECOSI Assessors’ that have been ‘Approved for the Bettercoal Programme’.
