Member impact

The Bettercoal Programme works closely with its Members to encourage more of their coal suppliers to join the Bettercoal assessment process and commit to working towards our Code.

Every year, since 2017, we have monitored the volume of coal that our Members have purchased from Bettercoal committed producers, and compared this to the total volume of coal they purchased in that same year. The aim is to see the volume of coal purchased through Bettercoal Producers increase each year.
