Naturgy ends their membership of Bettercoal

Naturgy joined Bettercoal in 2013 and have been a committed Member ever since, sitting on the Board of Directors. In line with their decarbonisation strategy and growth in renewables, Naturgy will be closing down their remaining coal-fired power plants in 2020.

In this context Naturgy has chosen to terminate its membership in the Bettercoal organisation. Whilst we are sad to lose one of our members, we are thankful for the energy and expertise Naturgy contributed to the improvements and growth of our organisation.
